Thank you for choosing Shipping Containers UK Limited for your container purchase! Below you will find our detailed shipping policy, which ensures you have a clear understanding of how your order will be processed and delivered.

Order Cut-Off Time

  • Order Cut-off Time: All orders must be placed by 2:00 PM GMT for processing on the same business day. Orders placed after 2:00 PM GMT will be processed the next business day.

Handling Time (Processing)

  • Handling Time: After your order is confirmed, it will take 2–3 Business Days  (Mon – Fri) to prepare the container for dispatch. This includes verifying crane truck availability and clearing the gate for shipment.

Transit Time (Shipping)

  • Transit Time: Once your container has been dispatched, the estimated delivery time is 4–7 Business Days (Mon – Fri), depending on your delivery location. This is the time it takes the carrier to transport your container from our depot to your address.

Shipping Costs

Delivery Method & Equipment

  • Fixed Shipping Rates: Flat Rates: £300

  • Vehicle Type: Containers are delivered using a HIAB (crane) vehicle, which allows for the safe offloading of containers at your site.

  • Offloading Policy: The delivery driver will be responsible for offloading the container using the HIAB crane. However, the customer is required to ensure that a flat, hard-standing surface is available for the container to be placed. The delivery truck cannot drive over soft grass, mud, or weak bridges.

  • Access Requirements: Please ensure that the delivery area is accessible by a large vehicle. If there are any specific access restrictions, please inform us ahead of time. The HIAB truck requires a minimum 10m x 10m clear area for safe offloading.

Service Area & Restrictions

  • Service Area: We deliver to Mainland UK, including England, Wales, and Southern Scotland. We do not deliver to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, or the Scottish Highlands.

  • Exclusions: Unfortunately, we do not deliver to PO Boxes or Military Addresses (APO/FPO).

Order Tracking & Communication

Damaged or Lost Goods

  • Order Confirmation: Once your order is placed, you will receive an immediate confirmation email with details of your purchase.

  • Scheduling Delivery: Given the size of our containers, a logistics coordinator will call you within 2–3 business days of your order to schedule a specific delivery window that works for you.

  • Inspection of Delivery: Upon receiving your container, please inspect it immediately for any visible damage to the structure or door seals. If there is any damage, please do not accept the delivery and inform the driver immediately.

  • Reporting Damaged Goods: If any damage is noticed after the driver leaves, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. After this period, we may not be able to process claims for damage.

Additional Information

  • Business Days: All timeframes mentioned are in Business Days (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays).

  • Currency: All prices are listed in GBP (£).

  • No Tax

  • No Hidden Fees: Please note that no hidden fees apply to the shipping charges. However, please be aware of additional surcharges for fuel or during peak seasons, which may apply and will be communicated to you before checkout.
