Refurbished containers are previously used Wind and Water Tight (WWT) containers that have undergone some special treatment. This process involves preparing, priming, and giving them a fresh coat of paint. It’s like giving a shipping container a new lease on life and can make it last longer. We offer three levels of refurbishment for our Used Wind and Water Tight containers:<\/p>

  1. Standard refurbishment: We repaint the exterior of the container. This includes preparing and painting the outside, which involves removing loose rust with a wire wheel, spot-priming exposed metal, and painting the exterior, including the roof. We typically paint over locking rods, gaskets, and decals.<\/p><\/li>

  2. Complete refurbishment: Similar to the Standard Refurbishment, but we also paint the interior.<\/p><\/li>

  3. Factory refurbishment: This is a complete makeover for the container. It gets new interior and exterior paint, fresh gaskets, and new container markings. It’s like a brand-new container inside and out!<\/p><\/li><\/ol><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    Cargo Worthy shipping containers have undergone a thorough inspection and have been certified as strong and secure for worldwide travel by sea, rail, and road.<\/p>

    On the outside, these containers will still show their original paint (although the color might differ), old shipping markings, some surface rust, scratches, and dents.
